We were delighted in April 2009 to
be selected by the
Department for Work and Pensions to help
support its Jobcentre Plus initiative aimed at getting newly
unemployed professionals back to work. Since then we have run
workshops for over 100 professionals at many different levels
providing direction and support during their ongoing jobsearch.
People referred to us by
Jobcentre
Plus receive free career counselling and guidance on
topics such as CV writing, interviewing skills, market intelligence
and job search techniques.
The contract is for two years and it is estimated that around 20,000
professional people per year will benefit from the programme
nationwide.
