Performance Coaching
Coaching is NOT counselling.
Coaching is about the here and now and sets a clear vision for the
future. Coaching is not therapy; individuals take full
responsibility for their own actions and results, working under the
guidance of a Professional Coach.
During a coaching session individuals are challenged to discover how
to overcome perceived barriers, taking small steps but achieving
astounding results. An effective coach facilitates progress, but
they do not give answers.
Performance coaching is a structured dialogue between two people
where the coach asks stimulating questions enabling clarity and
focus for the client. It is about effective goal setting and action
planning. However, it requires willingness and total commitment in
order to achieve a powerful outcome.
Above all, coaching is about results, improved performance that can
make a difference to the bottom line and the best possible form of
self development.
Why use performance coaching?
A coach is completely independent and removed from the organisation
and its business. The coach, however, is totally dedicated and
committed on a personal level. With a breadth and depth of
understanding about attitude, behaviour and results, a coach will
often achieve powerful outcomes that are realised faster and are
sustainable for the long term.
Effective coaching does not require that a coach has hands on
experience of the client’s role or profession, however what
differentiates Integrated HR from other coaches is that we have
extensive knowledge and experience within the manufacturing sector.
