outplacement service which focuses on highly practical solutions which
includes appropriate levels of initial training, guidance, coaching and
awareness in addition to providing ongoing support subject to clients
needs.
Individual Level Outplacement Support
Typically associated with Senior roles, although not exclusive to
them, this 1-1 service is provided in a highly targeted way.
This flexibly designed approach may include the use of psychometric
tools to understand an individuals strengths and limitations, explore
the individuals interests and ambitions. In addition, we provide
practical assistance in producing an affective CV.
Further elements of the programme are concerned with the job hunt
process such as how to apply for advertised positions, accessing
unadvertised roles, interview coaching via video media. Moreover,
assistance can also be provided through the job offer stages.
Group Level Outplacement Support
At times there is a need to support small or large groups of
employees who have found themselves in a redundancy situation and
protect the corporate image of the business.
Whilst it may not be feasible to offer individual support, IHR can
offer a low cost practical option for groups of up to 8 delegates per
session.
General guidelines on CV preparation and job application to both
open vacancies and speculative enquiries are included in the programme
followed by individual clinic sessions to prepare for interview again
